The evening sun shone on the children as they happily played in the garden. It was a carefree and youthful display that made Joanna smile, her wrinkles becoming more pronounced. She put down her embroidery, brushing her golden hair with white streaks behind her ear. It was time for the rowdy children to come inside.
"Now, who wants to listen to the story about the great hero Loren?" Joanna clapped her hands together gathering the children's attention. Storytime was was easiest way to wrangle the kids inside from playtime. They rushed towards her, swarming at the feet of her rocking chair. This was a story no child in the Orphanaged would ever get tired of hearing no matter how many times it was re-told.

Summary
Tony takes in a 10 year old Peter after May and Ben die.
Unfortunately Tony isn't very good at communicating, or taking care of children, or communicating to said child about his family's funeral situation. Because of this, it leaves Peter desperate to do something to send off his Aunt and Uncle and honor their memories.
Sadly all Peter's got is a couple of rocks, a sharpie and grief.

Summary
Chase leans towards the baby and squints at her like she's a criminal sitting across an interrogation table. Robert knows he named his daughter right when she matches his expression one-for-one. “At least tell me you didn't follow the stupid family tradition. We're running out of nicknames for Robert that ain’t Bob.”
A weight lifts off of Robert's chest. Some unseen, fractured pattern comes to completion, and the joy of it is pure and simple. “Chase,” he says, not knowing whether to sob or laugh, “she's named after you.”
It didn't quite dawn on him yet, clearly. Chase snorts and scratches Beef's ears. “Yeah, right. First name Track, last name Star?”
Robert hoists the baby up to the full twenty-eight inches of limb and menace. “Chase, meet Chase.”

Summary
The first Mecha Man to grace L.A. was titled Mecha Man Prime, being the first in the legacy of non-powered humans to make a difference as a hero. The second Mecha Man named himself Astral and made his debut in L.A. as the leader of a group of heroes.
Robert was supposed to be the third Mecha Man. His father would have wanted that for him, but disappointing his father isn't new to him anyway.
In Robert's defense, he had a very valid crash out after his dad was murdered a decade ago. In his opinion, this leads to his very reasonable agenda of hunting down the man who murdered him. It sucks, because it's his target is beloved by the entire damn State.
L.A.'s third Mecha Man, Elliot Connors.
