The man dropped Bucky’s arm and did a quick once-over of the rest of him. He still hadn’t bothered to offer a greeting, but Bucky didn’t look like he was expecting one. His blank stare was focused on a spot over Steve’s shoulder, submissive and malleable. He didn’t make a move to roll his sleeve back down.
Every nerve in Steve’s body was saying that something was very, very wrong to put that look on Bucky’s face.
