“It’s not” - Derek cuts off as quickly as he starts, teeth gritting with frustration - “It’s not like the others it’s… There’s a reason I came to your house last.”
Stiles’ eyebrows raise. This is hands down the weirdest Derek has ever acted around him, and it’s making him curious.
“And that reason being…?” He rolls the sleeves of his flannel up to his elbows and leans against his desk to start untying his shoes.
“I need” - Derek grits through clenched teeth - “Your help.”
Stiles just blinks at him, shoes in his hands. “That was excruciating to witness, just so you know.”

Summary
It wasn’t like the Buzzfeed community didn’t know that Ryan Bergara was an Omega—everyone had to designate their secondary gender for liability purposes, and Ryan didn’t use super strong scent-blockers. It was just that very few people actually knew the extent of Ryan’s Omeganess. For example, almost no one knew that Ryan only went into heat twice a year for five days rather than four times a year for two days. Or that he was genetically predisposed to having multiple pups at a time. Or that he bordered on a 90% fertility rate when he was ovulating—nearly unheard of for Omegas of any primary gender. Or that he was completely capable of having multiple mates at once. Or that he was able to make any Alpha drop to their knees with just a single word.
Basically, hardly a soul on Earth was privy to the fact that Ryan Steven Bergara was a Queen.

Ryan has a lot on his plate right now. He’s one of three members of his species employed at BuzzFeed, and the only male omega, and his boss keeps asking him to do videos about being an iterant ‘to educate the humans,’ when what he really wants to do is videos about ghosts. So if, in the push to finish the pitch for BuzzFeed Unsolved, he forgot to renew his heat suppressant prescription—cut him some slack, okay? It happens. This is practically what iterant hookup apps were invented for. It’s nothing that making an A4O account can’t fix. Or it wouldn’t be, if the alpha he matched with wasn’t a problem unto himself.
