“Since when was the Professor married at all?” Remy wondered.
“I’ve known the Professor the longest and this is the first I’m hearing of it as well,” Jean responded. “And I think we’ve all come to the same conclusion as to what happened here.”
“Time travel,” Scott said. “Should we be worried about spoiling the future for them?”
“Forget that- I want to know what the hell happened between the Professor and this Erik guy!” Anna Marie stared at Erik’s back thoughtfully. “Also how did they get married anyway? Thought gay marriage is still illegal.”
“Maybe not in Germany?” Scott offered, not sounding like he really believed it either.
“You could always just ask him,” Remy offered. Silence.
“Either way I know the Professor still loves him deeply,” Jean offered to the collective interest of the gossiping friend group. “And I think that Erik becomes Magneto in the future and that’s why the Professor was so desperate for us to get here before they arrested him. Because he wants him back.”

Grace, who remembers Eridians have a weak spot this one is conveniently placing right next to his mouth, nearly bites one of their legs off, leaving them bleeding and barely able to scramble away. In his panic, he hadn't considered how biting someone would look to an eridian.
