Even half awake it was easy enough for Heejun to wiggle backwards and pull up the corner of the lightweight duvet. He didn’t even have to open his eyes, just feel the dip of the mattress and inviting warmth leaching into his bones to know when he could drop his arm, landing across Dongwon’s chest. Really effortless. Certainly easier than getting up, walking across the room, shoving Jihun over and squeezing between his lanky body and the wall, with all the same benefits.

If you had asked him at the time he would have said Grief is tall, as tall as a staircase. As a tree. Sometimes as tall as a house. And Grief was thin like a tree too. Thin like someone starving, someone sick, someone dying. Seungjun would have said that Grief has no eyes, no hair, and her face was loose and stretched, like She couldn’t hold it together. Like She was rotting away.
Seungjun has been followed by a demon who tears people apart since he was ten.

Testing, Inseong gave the dark strands between his fingertips a hard but short tug, watching Seungjun’s reaction carefully. On an ordinary day the taller boy would turn to glare at him for the slight, maybe even slap his leg in playful retribution. Seungjun was playful in his regular state but in no mood to be teased painfully like that. On some days though, some days Seungjun would react like we was now, face pressing harder into the muscle of Inseong’s thigh and hand gripping the jut of his kneecap where it had been resting. A grin stretched across Inseong’s face.

“Hey, Sammy,” Dean says, weak to anything else, and watches the smile on Sam’s face, the way his face looks not contorted by grief like it had in the seconds before Dean had lost consciousness.
“Dean,” Sam says, and isn’t that the goddamn thing? Dean can’t take it a second more, the buzzing under his skin is indomitable.
He reaches forward, and Sam’s already pulling him into a hug.
Or: Sam gets to Heaven, and now they might actually have to get their shit together...

Summary
Loki, the third prince of Jotunheim, finds himself having to reluctantly escort the crown prince of Asgard and his companions around the palace of Utgard during the first visit to Jotunheim by Asgardians in a generation. Thor initially proves less arrogant and oafish than Loki had expected, but then apparently reveals his true nature with a demeaning order that Loki serve him in bed.
Loki feels that he has no choice but to comply with a smile on his face, as to displease Thor could mean that the Casket of Winters would continue to be held hostage in far-away Asgard. Loki is just as desperate to have it returned as his father, Laufey-king, is, even if their reasons for wanting it returned are different. Loki will acquiesce to being Thor's bedwarmer and anything else that is required of him as long as it means keeping the favour of the spoiled enemy prince.
And he has to admit to himself that he's not entirely opposed to being bedded by the golden-haired foreigner. However, the outcome is not what he would have wished for, and his problems with the prince of Asgard are just beginning.
