Summary
Above, high in the skies and bathed in rays of light, Superman is a beacon of hope. The standard by which all other heroes are measured. A champion of the opressed that stands for truth, justice, and a better tomorrow for everyone. A seemingly unstoppable force for good.
Below, beneath the waves and on the verge of ruin, lies Rapture. Marvelous, impossible, and unbound by comformist laws and petty morality, a society moving to the whims of a great chain of progress that has no qualms leaving the downtrodden behind. Now, that very same chain chokes the life out of the city, on the ambitions of those in power. But for all of the horrors and injustice Rapture faces, it endures. A immovable object, a monument to decadence, greed, and self-interest.
What happens when they meet?
When the Man of Steel's loved ones and foes alike vanish into the waves, and he dives in after them?
When selfless hope meets self-centered cynicism?
When a farm boy comes to the big city?
When a selfless man is faced with a selfish society?
When a man compelled to save all, finds a city that doesn't WANT saving?

Summary
Mirabel runs away from home after seeing her entire family take a photo without her. In the jungle, while trying to leave the Encanto, she is attacked by a were-jaguar. In a desperate attempt to save her, the Miracle teleports her to Monster High.
Mirabel finds herself in front of the school, where Headmistress Bloodgood welcomes her into her home and tells her about the time when Bruno was a student at Monster High.
