Summary
The relationship you and Vox have is...special. More intimate than a boss and their subordinate usually are, but you're far, far from something sweet and romantic. The relationship is a tale as old as time; You two fuck, he treats you. As much as the both of you want to keep things simple, cut and dry, easy to quantify...Unfortunately things don't work like that. And they only get messier the more you learn about each other. The more you learn about yourselves, even. So much for no strings attached, huh?

Summary
You decided it was finally time to move out of your hometown and closer to your long-distance college boyfriend. This wasn't your first apartment, but that anxious feeling in your gut was getting unbearable. Turns out that gut feeling shouldn't have been ignored. Your new landlord totally just scammed you and left you homeless. Your boyfriend wasn't even there to comfort you. Ditching that stupid city seemed like the correct choice.
That's how you ended up in Old Ebott, a neighboring town of Ebott City. Maybe the universe or your guardian angel was listening, because that's where you found the sketchiest answer to your really serious problem—a flyer advertising a room for rent in the area. Your boyfriend still hasn't returned your call, and you were getting desperate. Through some investigating, the room is owned by a couple of skeleton monsters. Not that you had a problem with that! Your only problem is that the shorter one is a massive flirt and has eyes that seem to linger a bit too long on everything but your face.
It's good that this is only a temporary solution.
