When Eijirou loses his job -- again -- he finds himself living back at home with his mother. Being a single dad to seven-year-old Maisie is his greatest blessing, but his struggles with obsessive-compulsive disorder make day-to-day life difficult to say the least. Until he can find another job, he finds himself happily enjoying some extra time with his daughter, including taking her to and picking her up from school. Then he finds out the grumpy blond prick he meets in the pick-up line is actually her teacher, Mr. Bakugou.

Katsuki has taught second grade for five years. When he gets Maisie Kirishima in his class this year, it's nothing out of the ordinary. She's just another kid in his class. He doesn't feed into gossip, but he's heard from the office staff about the constant calls from the kid's father. It's easy to pass judgment based on hearsay, whether he likes it or not. Then he meets Mr. Kirishima.
Turns out they both have a lot to learn about love.
