Jason stared, just as the name clicked in his head.
…This guy was Ulysses?
After sacrificing himself to save Apollo, Meg, and Piper from Caligula, Jason is transported to Ancient Greece, in an alternate universe where demigods are extremely rare due to the sheer difficulty of a successful demigod pregnancy.
The exact location and time period he's been transported to? Smack in the middle of The Odyssey on Odysseus' ship, right before the crew lands on Helios' island. And when Zeus arrives to cast judgement, he comes face-to-face with a demigod, young and mortal and inexplicably, undeniably his.
Jason thinks that Zeus couldn't care less about him.
Unfortunately for him, he's about to be proven very, very wrong.

He’s tucked away behind one side of the massive gateway to the clearing, watching a short, dark-haired warrior who he does not recognize fight the much larger king of the underworld. Hades is holding nothing back against the smaller figure, lashing out at the likely-doomed fighter with obvious vitriol. The man is absolutely drenched in red blood, but exudes the speed and aura that Hypnos would normally associate with godhood.
