Summary
Which is exactly why he hasn’t been going to therapy. I mean, with a therapist, he has to talk about it, and quite literally force it all to be back on the center of his mind as someone across from him writes down every little thing he says. Yeah, no. The pills are just as effective, he would say they helped even more.
Fuck what Eddie thinks. He’s fine.-

Summary
And it’s no different now. Because Buck is a good friend - the best friend Eddie has ever had the privilege of having. He’s been the one sure thing in his and Chris’s lives since they came to LA nearly a decade ago, and the hungry thing in Eddie’s chest that thrives off of each moment spent in proximity to him is spoiled rotten with his easy affection and loving companionship. And that’s enough. It has to be enough, because Buck doesn’t - can’t possibly - feel the same way.

Summary
“I’m not talking about the job,” Eddie said quietly.
Wait, what?
“Okay,” Buck said slowly. “What are you talking about?”
“I'm gay,” Eddie blurted out.
Yeah, there was no way that Buck could misinterpret that.
The employee stocking the milk behind Eddie turned his head around so fast he could've given himself whiplash.
Buck gave him a look that said mind your business, Milk Boy. Milk Boy muttered something to himself before just shaking his head and resuming his task.

Summary
“Is that what you’ve been up to while I've been gone?”
There’s no judgement, just curiosity in his voice. But for some reason Buck still finds himself saying: “No. Just a movie I was watching. Had me thinking about Buck 1.0.”
He doesn't know why he lied. But he doesn’t know how to say, ‘I exchanged blowjobs with a stranger forty-five minutes ago’, and have it not matter. Have it not change the tone of the conversation. He doesn’t want to put it into words that that’s what he did and then right after he called Eddie. It feels like something he shouldn’t admit to.
