Will dropped his head into his hands. “Mike, oh my god—”
Paladin Mike’s jaw tightened. “I do not own him,” he said immediately. “He is—” He stopped, swallowing. His eyes went back to Will softening, and that softness made Mike hate him even more. He could recognize the look, and saw it mirrored in his own eyes countless times.

“He is the Light. By your oath, I am bound to him. My liege.” He bowed his head slightly toward Will, his mouth wrapped around the word like it was a prayer. “My cleric.” He said after, softer.
“Oh my god.” Will flushed, impossibly. “That is crazy. He is actually crazy."
Max, who had been standing with her arms crossed behind them, muttered, “Jesus Christ,” under her breath.
Mike Wheeler is going to explode, because there is an alternate, armoured version of him, following Will Byers around like he belonged to him.

Summary

Ironically, Will Byers is the one in a relationship, moving on from the traumatic events in Hawkins, Indiana. When Mike show up on Will’s doorstep, clinging to sentimentality and hoping for comfort from his “Best Friend.” A new storm of emotions, and heartbreak arise.

“You mean the all girls camp upstate? How do you expect us to land that job?” Art retorts.
Patrick makes an oh face, continuing his search. “Oh I didn’t see that. What about Camp Evergreen? Tennis is one of the activities the campers do there, we could emphasize that experience on our resume.”
Art looks up Camp Evergreen and it seems to tick all the boxes. Sleepaway camp? Check. Hiring camp counselors? Check. Co-ed? Check.
Satisfied Art nods, “This actually might work, I’ll work on my application.”
A smirk reappearing in Patrick’s face,” I told you I always have good ideas.”

Summary
Before high school, Mike and Will thought they'd be thick as thieves along with the rest of the party. However, they discover that they don't have any classes together and drift apart making new friends outside of their childhood friends or focus on their separate hobbies. Then, a rumor happens that further puts a wedge in between Mike and Will. Now, on graduation night, Mike and Will try to make amends and perhaps confess their feelings, only for things to go astray as the next day they have switched bodies. After not seeing eye to eye in so long, perhaps this is their chance to be in each other's shoes.
