Summary
(Rewrite and extension of Febuwhump Day 10: Magic Exhaustion.)
An exploration around the Malto's property goes awry when Bumblebee and the Terrans stumble upon a magical pond that appears to have a singular ability: turn whoever touches it young.
Consequently, the Terrans have to deal with a significantly younger Bumblebee - B-127 - with a heightened sense of self-importance and attitude. Confusion gripping all sides of the fiasco, the group of sparklings desperately search for a way to restore him to the mentor they know, all while trying to navigate their new and terrifying relationship.
Not that B-127's helping make things easier.

Whether he starts as Autobot or Decepticon, B-127 has one trait in common upon capture; avid refusal to say a word about his faction's plans.
It just happens that the Autobots’ plans to get him to open up involves a lot more childcare. And handholding. Oh, and Optimus Prime.
Optimus Prime has only had B-127 for ten kliks, but if anything happened to him, Optimus Prime would kill everyone in the base and then himself.

Summary
Primus knew, Ratchet would do anything to shield his sparkling from harm. Yet, the War made exceptions for no one, not even at the insistence and threats of grumpy old medics. Thus, sometimes the only thing Ratchet could do was to hold and comfort Bumblebee in the aftermath of disaster.
Or: 5 times Ratchet had to encourage Bumblebee to open his servo. The gritty, the wholesome and the dark.

Summary
Shortly before Cybertron's tragic demise, Bumblebee, barely a youngling, is 'saved' by the only and only Megatron. The decepticons find their way to planet Earth, just like the Autobots, and while bumblebee is trained to be the decepticons' mightiest scout and taught about the autobot aggressors, he is locked away on the ship, hidden away from the 'enemy'. Then, when finally let out to go on missions, he keeps meeting the damn bots, as if Primus himself is making them walk into each other each time.
In the meanwhile, the Autobots grow curious about their enemy’s scout, one that stands out so much, and one that they keep seeing on missions.
