Logan still struggles to settle back into the notions of everyday life. How could he? How could he pretend like everything's fine, to go on about his day in a new setting and act like he's always been here. In this place that looked familiar but felt oh so wrong. He felt himself going crazy; the blurry lines of absurd reasoning that held up his continued existence driving him up a wall.
But there was one thing that kept him alive, one man.
Everyday since the incidents, Wade had stuck by him, never left him alone. Wade Wilson kept him grounded when he felt like drowning. Wade Wilson kept him in the present when all he wanted was to lose himself in the past and never return.
Over time, Logan found himself being more and more dependent on the man. And with each day, the more content he started to feel, the more things were looking to be okay.
It scared him.
