Korra was stunned. Here she was sitting in the passenger seat of a luxury car feeling the rush and speed all around her. She looked ahead at the race track in front of her, watching a pink-tinged dawn light peek out through her sunglasses. It had to be the most beautiful sight ever.
And yet, it was the last thing she wanted to be staring at. She kept glancing down at the beautiful hand resting on the stick shift of the car. Pale, soft manicured fingers wrapped around it pushing it in all different directions with the roaring of the engine. The owner of the beautiful hands staring down at the race track in a burgundy red leather jacket, white jeans, and grey shades tinting a pair of emerald eyes.
How could she possibly not steal glances at her?
A beautiful girl sat next to her taking her out for the ride of her life as if it was the most casual thing in the world.
And this all began with the drop of a pencil.
