Summary
The veil between worlds is thinnest in hell - in certain places, at least - and Nick Scratch is desperate to escape. He has the devil chained up inside him, Lilith hot on his heels in a desperate desire for legitimacy over hell, and demons at every corner, looking for easy pickings.
Soul half broken with the madness of two voices battling for dominance inside him, Nick Scratch is fucking easy pickings.
That’s why he finds the darkest corners, the coldest edges, and pulls away from hell as much as he can…
Only to land himself in another one.
Except this one is, well, different. For one, this world’s Lucifer is trapped in the middle of hell, suspended in a cage crafted by - wait for it - the fucking false god. Apparently, he’s not so false in this universe, is he?
Nick Scratch, propelled by unholy curiosity, steps closer and discovers there’s a third part to this whole ordeal. Sam Winchester, the devil's vessel (in this world).
Perhaps he can help this guy and finally find a way to get rid of the parasite in his body for good, trap him with the other Lucifer. It would serve him right, he muses. The egoist versus the egoist, borne in blood and fire and icy abstinence.
