It had to be said: Jinx wasn’t exactly skilled in this department. More like completely out of her depth. Yes, she loved dressing up, adored everything shiny, colorful, plush, and cute. But that was a matter of taste! Aesthetics! That didn’t mean Jinx suddenly had the secret ability to vomit rainbows and spit out flowery words instead of curses, like some heroine from a cheap romance novel. Jinx was abrupt, impulsive, rude, shamelessly loud—and she couldn’t write one of those sappy love letters even if you held a gun to her head!
