Summary
A twist to the ending of the episode 'Broken Hearts' leads into an alternative Season 5 in which Sara never joined the Legends but came back to Star City instead, and Oliver and her need to navigate the issues that come with the aftermath of her death and resurrection, dealing with her bloodlust, and the emotional impact giving William up has on Oliver. On top of that they are also faced with the very personal consquences of their actions.

"You need me to do what now?" Sara had to bite her lip to keep from laughing given the look on his face, which also made it clear this was the first time Ollie heard this and it had not been part of the deal when he'd accepted to be one of Barry's best men.
"I need you to help me out here. You're my best man. Look, the wedding planner was supposed to provide us with personnel to do that, but for some reason they didn't show up… so I need you to do it." Barry looked a little flustered and sheepish, she had to give him that but still asking Ollie to make a fool out of himself in front of all the guests was a big request. Especially after last night.

When a soul passes on after the body has failed there is no limit to how far a person could see, how much a person cold know, and in death Sara could see every life she had lived, every life she would live, and all the universes in which she’d been born at a different time, made different choices. A vastness of what-ifs which could keep her occupied for millennia.
