    Ranks and such had been around as long as humans had existed. Everyone knew the roles and abilities each rank offered, and it was still the same way to this day. Well, societal influences had progressed at least.

    Kusuo Saiki was not a normal human; he wasn’t even sure the ranks applied to him. They could not have enough effect on his everyday life whether he presented or not. So why bother about them, right?
