The touches toeing the line between appropriate and inappropriate, the jokes that might get him hauled into HR in another industry, an interest just beyond professional, the subtle reminders of their positions. It’s never anything too severe, never enough for the girl to actually call attention to it--no one wants to get the reputation for being hard to work with or making a mountain out of a molehill--but enough for that sense of discomfort to settle into her body and expression when he’s around.
