Ren thinks about it. His life really couldn’t and shouldn’t revolve completely around the shadow world, he supposes. And he’s not obligated to do any more than this if acting doesn’t agree with him after all.
Ann’s going to freak. Futaba is going to lose her shit.
“You remember the Phantom Thieves of Hearts business a few years back?” The director asks. “It won’t be a complete one to one, but I do have to admit that this series’ plot is loosely based on it.”
Okay, now that’s just unfair. Now Ren has to take the role.
So that’s how Ren becomes a Featherman Ranger.
Or, Amamiya Ren becomes a Featherman actor, bases his character off Akechi, and the real Akechi Goro disastrously simps from afar.

Summary
It’s a Sunday afternoon and Akechi Goro is in his shitty apartment, sprawled on his couch, when he makes a horrible discovery.
A re-run of Featherman is playing on his thrifted TV. Mid ad-break, he turns on his phone and sees a very familiar app, sitting there on the home page innocently as though last time it had appeared out of nowhere it hadn’t ruined Goro’s life. He had been sipping on disgusting instant coffee, which he spills all over his pants from the shock.
Not because he’s clumsy, obviously.
His right eye twitches. He opens the app, and reads the words: Amamiya Ren, Tokyo, Shrine.

Summary
Left alone and abandoned with fractured bonds after the return to his home town, Akira Kurusu is tired.
He fought for Humanity, killed two gods and gave his all for his friends that can’t seem to spare a minute for him.
Falling deeper into a spiral he doesn’t realise what has happened until Arsene is before him to take him away so he can finally rest.
Goro Akechi is supposed to have died twice yet here he is again at the will of the universe to save his only friend? Partner? And apparently the Phantom Thieves cannot be trusted because of their betrayal in January.
Goro enlists Sumire’s help and together they will save him.
When the Phantom Thieves finally realise Akira is in danger can they admit to their mistakes or will they only jeopardise him further.
