    It’s always the softest words which ring uncannily in the pin drop silence. The Corinthian feels a glove of dread clawing up his throat.

    "Y-yes, Dream.” His thoughts sputter as they form. “Of - of course -"

    “And my mouth didn’t just lie to me, did it?”

    The Corinthian fucks up the second chance Dream's given him. Crosses a line, but tells himself it's fine - he just has to hide it from Dream.

    Vows to do so, at all costs, because he has Dream now - he's living with him.

    But it's not easy hiding something from your creator when he lives with you. When he can sense something's wrong, and punish you until he forces it out of you.

    The Corinthian spends a lot of time begging and getting nowhere in this fic.
