Summary
"Did you see?" says Dick, and he lets go of Tim's shoulders to take him by the arm, tugging him toward the kitchen instead of the Batcave. "Alfred made cookies."
"Think he's trying to lure you in," says Tim, with a huff of a laugh. "Like one of those traps they bait for raccoons."
"Raccoons are too smart for that, baby bird," says Dick, blithely, and swipes up one of the bait-cookies anyway, biting into it with an appreciative little hum.
Tim finds somewhere else to look — fixes his gaze on a spot on the far wall, trying hard to ignore the way the kitchen smells of cinnamon and nutmeg and sugar. His stomach twists a little, hopeful, and he tells it firmly that these aren't for him. They're Dick's welcome-home cookies.

"I'll make sure of it!" Bart's voice sounded off from behind the camera. Cassie looked past with a grin that probably matched the one Bart was wearing. Tim looked at Kon, tentatively skeptical, and Kon looked at Tim, more determined than ever to be a rock star. One sighed, the other grinned, but they both looked to Bart with a nod of appease.
Bart made an excited sound and put his fist out into the space between the four.
"Young, Just Us?"
Cassie was first, then Kon and Tim. All together, their hands in a circle, each wrist wore a Bracelet. Star beads with their respective colors.The voices from the screen echoed back in a chorus of voices.

Summary
Living in the manor was so different from the cold mansion he had grown up in. Tim never felt lonely there despite its enormous size. Even with his busy schedule of juggling Batman's responsibilities and being WE’s CEO, Bruce still managed to spend more time with Tim than his parents ever had. Dick came to visit every weekend, taking Tim on fun outings across the city. He and Steph would hang out in the den after school on weekdays. He and Cass would spend quiet afternoons reading in the library while she practiced on the grand piano in the corner. He could always count on Alferd’s subtle presence in the manor, diligently cleaning or preparing a home-cooked meal. Tim was never alone there; it was a bit overwhelming at first, but it was nice.
Tim should have remembered that good things never last.

Tim's carefully crafted web of lies comes crashing down after a mission gone wrong. How will the Bats react when his biggest secret comes to light?
