Summary
In which Rex has The Force. He is the only one who thinks this is a problem.
Or, as the saying goes, Humans plan and God laughs. The clones are supposed to be Force-null--The Force took one look at that plan, and started cackling.
Or, despite being an ori'vod himself, Captain Rex has a way of getting adopted by everything he comes in contact with that is even slightly older than he is. This includes Cody, the Jedi, and The Force itself.

Summary
“How is your arm, Captain?” Kenobi asks again. Rex wonders why the General is so concerned. It really is just a scratch. He’s had worse on the training grounds. Kark, he had worse last week with those karking mastiff phalones. He can’t quite hide the shiver that runs through him, teeth clacking together. Suddenly, he can’t seem to stop trembling. Violent shivers tremor through his muscles. He can feel sweat trail down his temple even though he’s sure he’s never felt this cold in his life.
What is going on with him?
In which some of the Talz poison their spears, and Rex’s “scratch” turns out to be a “problem”
Or, Rex has really been carrying the team up until this point—now it’s time for someone to carry him. Literally.
Or, regret is a powerful motivator. When faced with the very real possibility of Rex dying, Anakin realizes just how much he has taken the Captain for granted.

Summary
“That’s how I fight, Jigen. I have to get up close,” He explains slowly, biting, as if he were talking to a particularly annoying child. “That is how I’ve always done it. Why are you taking issue with it now?”
And there it is.
Because, when it comes down to it, he’s right- he shouldn’t care, not when it’s worked in their favor for so long. And he didn’t. He didn’t mind it, for the longest time, but now he does. He cares so much it makes his heart ache and keeps him up at night.

Summary
Zenigata is placed in a different time over a several year period whenever he dies. He continues his work per normal, not too bothered by his unusual situation. He doesn't realise himself that he's being worn down bit by bit with each death and a recurring case that haunts him. Someone else notices though.
