Summary
Adora had thought spending Christmas at her family’s cabin up in the mountains would be a relaxing break from high school. She did not expect to get snowed in up there, much less with no one but a sassy cat-eared alien castaway to keep her company. Forming an unlikely duo, Adora quickly finds herself at odds with her family and what seems like all the forces on Earth and in the stars above as she embarks on a cross-country quest to get her new friend home.

Summary
Catra begins her first year of college ready for a fresh start. On the other side of the country away from home on a scholarship, she has the chance to become everything she’s ever wanted, and never been able to be. If only her roommate wasn’t so annoying, and if only her friend wasn’t so attractive.
Adora couldn’t tell you what it feels like to work hard. Everything she’s ever done, 4.0 GPA, sports scholarship, star player on BMU’s girls soccer team has been effortless.
Though Glimmers roommate, seemingly volatile, fascinates her. And talking to her certainly isn’t easy. She’s never met someone like her, and is convinced she won’t again. Can that mean nothing?College AU, since we all need a pick me up sometimes. (I’m talking about myself I wrote this for me)

A soft prickle bloomed across her left arm. Not painful, never painful, but warm and insistent, like someone dragging a fingertip along her skin. She didn’t have to look. She already knew what it meant.
Her soulmate was writing on her again.
Catra dropped her bag onto the mattress with an annoyed thud, jaw clenching. Not today.
But the prickle kept moving, looping, curling. Despite herself, Catra glanced down.

The ink looked almost wet, dark against her skin, neat handwriting she’d come to recognize like an unwanted ringtone.
“Seriously?” she muttered.

Summary
Adora loves her family, and she loves her job. She doesn't love when her family forces her to do things take a vacation right before one of the most important launches of her career. The last thing she expects from this unwanted trip is to run into a ghost from Christmases past.
Catra has never been good at letting anything go. Hence her impulsively buying the Christmas tree farm from her childhood to save it from closure. But when the farm miraculously brings Adora back to her, she knows this time she will have to find a way to say goodbye gracefully. After all, Adora is only here until the holidays.
