Hunter’s face immediately went red as he looked around in confusion. “W-what do you mean by that?”
The human followed Hunter’s gaze outside to where Willow was effortlessly taking down the creature, sweat glistening on her round face.
“Ha! I don’t know w-what you mean, human,” Hunter said with a bit of a stammer to his words as he clasped his hands firmly in front of him, clenching and unclenching them repetitively. “I’m n-not in love with anyone. And that’s never going to change.” Luz gave him a doubtful look.
Amity bit back a gasp as the puzzle pieces started to fall into place. Did Hunter have … feelings for Willow?
OR: Amity and Hunter aren’t friends. So it gets weird fast when Amity finds out who his crush is, and she isn’t sure she’s alright with it.
