Summary
Toph Beifong has been treated like a delicate flower from the moment she first opened her eyes.
She was born into a rich family. Her parents were socialites, philanthropists, any other word one could think of that meant they had a lot of money and loved to spend it. So they definitely could have afforded any of the necessary accommodations one could think of to help their blind daughter. But they didn't.
Instead, they told no one of her existence, kept her locked up in her room with anything a little girl could ask for. But Toph did not want dresses or toys. Toph wanted to experience life. She wanted to feel the grass under her feet, the warm sun on her skin, smell the garden, listen to the ocean, experience the outside world in any way that she could. But she wasn't allowed to.
When she was nine she found a way to see. She learned how to listen to the earth beneath her feet and force the earth to listen to her.
Toph’s blindness had dictated her entire life. Her parents kept her dressed up like a pretty doll, hidden away like a piece of delicate china, treated her like a glass figurine too delicate to even be breathed on, let alone taken outside.

Outside the temple, she built for Kurama.
In a shiromuku next to Madara who looks stupidly handsome in his montsuki with the Uchiha fan on his back surrounded by her Haruno circle of unity.
Hashirama is bawling in a pregnant Mito’s arms, Izuna is teary-eyed, Tobirama looks done with life as he hands him a handkerchief, and down below, the villagers throw petals in the air in celebration.
Kurama, the backstabbing fox, sits atop his shrine altar, in a shrunken form, and looks smug as hell.
