Poe and Ranpo are teens during the Victorian era and have to go to a young women's boarding school for each their own reasons. What shenanigans will they get up to while they are there? Who knows! We might also see more of the BSD cast in this school.
I have also gender swapped the characters, why? Because I have free will.

Summary
The book that would contain Chuuya’s life within its pages was not a happy one. It’d be full of action, and drama, and perhaps some horror as well. It would also contain a lot of annoying people, like that damn detective, Ranpo.
Now, trapped within a fictional world of murderers with said walking headache, Chuuya expected a lot of things. He expected to be annoyed, frustrated, and a little murderous himself. What he never predicted was that within those pages, something else would change between them. He never thought they’d become close.
Once that tale ends, when they escape from that fantasy, both thought their story would end there. Neither of them ever thought that what they had been writing together would turn out to be a romance novel.
Though, not every love story has a happy ending, just like not every tragedy is unavoidable. The question is, what ending does their story have?
*August update- This fic is *not* abandoned, but I am super stuck. Trust me when I say I think about this fic & the guilt I feel for not updating constantly D: After reading Storm Bringer, I’ve had some major rethoughts about parts of this fic that I’m now debating over. “Tsushima Shuuji,” Chuuya reads out loud. “A bright, optimistic young man with a pep in his step and a zest for life. Hang on–is this referring to you?”
“Unfortunately,” Dazai laments, sighing dramatically. “You just got away with ‘science nerd’ and ‘soccer player,’ but I’m supposed to be an artist! I hate art! It’s useless!”
“Shut the fuck up. That’s not the problem here. You? A ‘zest for life?’ Looking forward to each new morning? Hah! Rimbaud would sooner come back to life.”
Dazai turns to Chuuya with the barest facsimile of a smile painted over his lips.
“I,” he says sweetly, “am going to gut you open like a fish.”
Dazai and Chuuya are seasoned mafiosos at the ripe old age of almost-seventeen. They’ve fought gang wars, interrogated prisoners, and done all manner of unspeakable things. Now, they face their greatest challenge yet: going (undercover) to a real high school. With regular teens (who may or may not be desperately trying to get them to kiss).
