Lan Zhan held out the bowl and the young boy peered into it for a moment before carefully selecting two pieces. The man peered into the bowl as well and then asked,
“Do daddies in costume get candy, too?”
The man pouted up at Lan Zhan, who was so thrown off by the impropriety and impishly handsome face that he simply nodded. The utterly shameless man promptly dove for the candy bowl, grabbing a handful. Lan Zhan briefly glanced at his figure once more, wondering where exactly he planned to store it.
