Summary
There was a plan, if Lucas remembers correctly. Rescue the kids. Kill Vecna. Save the world. Done, done, and done.
And then there was another thing. A closing bullet point on the to-do list. He hasn’t stopped thinking about it. If anything, he’s thought more and more about it every second. To the point where it’s almost debilitating.
Like, there was a larger question, which is, Does Lucas Sinclair like boys, and while it’s hard to say for certain, the answer is really skewing yes lately. Everywhere he looks he’s noticing guys like they’re a brand-new species. It turns out Steve is hot, if you can get past the part where he’s basically been their glorified babysitter for several years. Dustin’s alright, but the mullet works against him as much as Mike getting rid of the mullet is working for him. Mostly, these are passing observations. Acknowledged and then dismissed. Whatever. Lucas thinks guys are hot now. Or always did and never noticed.
But there’s also a much narrower, more precise question, tapering off like an arrowhead, pointing directly at Will.

Premise:
It's two weeks after the fall of Hawkins and the Party are trying to figure out how to move on, find Max and stop Vecna.Will's heart is still breaking over Mike and El, but when those emotions awaken something decidedly more otherworldly and powerful he, and a strange new friend, have to confront what really happened in Hawkins on November 6th 1983 and what side Will himself is really on.
A fever-dream, mucho-feels, super long, semi-fix-it, version of Season 5.

Summary
On November 6, 1983, Will Byers vanished. On November 12, he was rescued by the wrong people.
Sometimes he wondered if he’d have been better off staying in the Upside Down.
A Season 1 AU in which Will is not saved, he is simply taken from one hell to another. At Hawkins Lab, his new prison, he endures unthinkable torture and develops skills he never could have imagined. With every day that passes, he finds himself wondering if he will ever be rescued. Back at home, his friends and family continue the search. But after years pass and still no news, their hope is dwindling. Only a fool would keep holding out.
