“Stede.” Ed tilted his head closer, beard rasping along Stede’s jaw and that really oughtn’t to have been as titillating as it was, making him wonder how it would feel… elsewhere. “Mate. Don’t know about you, but things are getting a bit… urgent, if you get my drift.”
“Mm!” God, his hips were rocking, rubbing against Ed’s, and he couldn’t – didn’t – want to stop them. And the fingers. Fingers on his buttons. Offer and invitation and he nodded, pressing breathless, open mouthed kisses down the curve of Ed’s neck.
“C’n’you do me?” Ed breathed, tugging at Stede’s buttons.
Do him. Do for him. Do with him.

The downside to being stuck on a desert island is that Stede's not awfully good at adapting. The upside is that he and Ed can finally have some peace and quiet– that is, if Ed ever wakes up from the gunshot wound in his stomach.

“Come here.” Ed puts his hand back behind Stede’s neck and pulls him close. “Listen, I know you said no sex, but… would you try it, just once, with me? I promise we’ll stop if it ever gets to be too much. Solemn vow.”
Stede stays silent for a moment. He thinks of Mary, not even meeting his eyes as they performed their marital duties. And he thinks of Ed, pulling back after their first kiss, gazing at him as if Stede were the most beautiful thing in the world.
“Alright,” he whispers.
*Stede doesn't like sex. At least, he thinks he doesn't, because he's never had sex with someone he's actually attracted to before. Ed very patiently teaches him that sex can actually be enjoyable. There is crying. Bon apetit.

Ben shoots him a look, one that merely pleads please don’t, but Caleb - committed to his cause, which is playing some juvenile game to guilt him out of getting anything useful done tonight - throws himself onto the bed to wait. Ben’s bed, that is; Caleb has his own room in the inn somewhere. Before Ben can say so much as get off, Caleb kicks up his feet and settles his arms behind his head in easy defiance.
Ben rolls his eyes, and returns his attention to his work.
(Listen, I loved 4x10. But this will always be the end-of-the-war canon of my heart.)
