Summary
If you control the narrative, you control the truth. Jacques Schnee can’t change the fact that his newborn daughter has Faunus wings, but he can change the world at large and the way it views Faunus as second-class citizens.
After Jacques allies with the Belladonna’s White Fang and turns the SDC into a champion of equal rights (while making sure to market his newfound ‘activism’ for every drop of PR he can), the world is an entirely different place seventeen years later when Weiss Schnee and her childhood friend Blake Belladonna go to Beacon to train as huntresses.

Summary
Alicent’s throat goes dry as Rhaenyra’s ice cold fingers gently tuck her red curls behind her ear, leaving her right cheek exposed to the air. Then, her fingers trail down the side of Alicent’s face and further down, where she pushes Alicent’s hair back and reaches around to pull it all to her opposite shoulder.
She brings her hand up again. Despite how cold her hands are, there’s a fire in Alicent’s gut as Rhaenyra traces her fingers down the side of Alicent’s throat.
“You should wear your hair like this more often,” Rhaenyra whispers, making goosebumps rise along Alicent’s arms. “You have a lovely profile.”
Alicent is a lecturer at an unremarkable university, with few friends and even fewer romantic prospects. However, she quickly finds a friend in the newest addition to the faculty: the pale, beautiful, and somewhat strange Rhaenyra Targaryen. While a series of strange animal attacks starts taking out several of Alicent's colleagues, she finds herself focused on a far more personal battle. The struggle between the life she's supposed to lead, and what, or rather who, her subconscious desires.

Summary
“Why? What is it about me you find so interesting?” Alicent asked, unable to think of anything about her that would intrigue a fae this much.
“I’m not sure. I could say it’s because of your cleverness, although I haven’t been trying very hard to trick you,” the fae admitted, “though I have a sense you would dance around any word traps I tried to set.”
Alicent looked at her hands folded in her lap. “You give me too much credit.”
“I’ve yet to be proven wrong though,” the fae shot back. Then, she went silent for a moment, and Alicent could feel eyes roaming over her face. “I could also say it’s because you’re beautiful. Us fair folk have always held an appreciation for beauty in all its forms.”
or, after learning of a change to the arranged marriage Alicent has been preparing for all her life, she delves deep into the Hightower gardens to try and calm herself. She finds something, or rather, someone unexpected there.
aka all the Targaryen/Valyrian weirdness would make a lot of sense if they were faeries
