Summary
Their return from the ice planet hadn't been easy. Plagued by nightmares, Sam's struggling to cope. A new complication from the quantum mirror isn't helping, either. Alone and exhausted, she needs to decide what she actually wants. Can she have it all? Can she gather up her broken pieces and make something beautiful? Quasi-sequel to "Cracks in the Glass". Summary
Canon compliant, in character attempt at a realistic development of the Sam/Jack relationship seasons 1-8. Missing moments and deleted scenes to address some of the unanswered questions we all have with an emphasis on in character communication, or lack thereof. M for season 8 only. T version available.
“Somebody told me that it was good to remember.” He was looking down at her now instead of at Charlie. Sam wasn’t sure what she was feeling, only that she was feeling a lot of it. Did he mean that he had done this because of her?
“Yeah, I think it is,” she answered him, looking back to Charlie.
“Thanks,” he whispered. Was this what it had been like before they had become strictly co-workers? She didn’t think so. She remembered a lot of flirting and teasing—a lot of fun. She didn’t remember anything so heavy. Maybe this was better, after all. She missed the flirting, but maybe this was what he actually needed. Maybe he needed the things that were hard for him instead of the things that were second nature. Maybe she was selfish to want both, but hey, a girl could dream.

Summary
She's moved on. She's engaged to someone else. Jack doesn't have to be her shoulder anymore. He doesn't have to listen to her babble about an issue until she figures it out. He's her CO. Her boss. He should expect support from her, not the other way around. He ought to turn around and walk the other way. But she looks so dejected---so upset---so troubled---that he can't quite make himself actually leave. After all, they'd always been friends, hadn't they? Summary
Stargate Restaurant AU
Sam Carter came to Colorado Springs for a fresh start. She found a chaotic kitchen, a Minnesotan hotdish of a man flipping eggs, and a second chance she never saw coming.
Jack O’Neill is like a true Midwestern casserole—warm, unassuming, and far more comforting than expected.
Between dinner rushes, old ghosts, and late-night laughter, Sam and Jack build something unexpected—family, forgiveness, and maybe even love.
A quiet story about starting over, staying put, and finding home where you least expect it.
