Summary
Accused of disregarding traditional royal customs, Mihawk, in order to appease his kingdom’s nosy councilmen and get them off his back, agrees to an ancient custom that requires all current rulers of Kurai to marry. Forced to choose several suitors permitted to try and ‘court’ for his hand in marriage, Mihawk determines the best he can hope for is a partner he can at least tolerate.
However, when a red-haired stranger presents himself as a potential suitor at the king’s reception, Mihawk is unable to resist the dashing elite. In a fit of impulsiveness, Mihawk agrees to allow Red-Haired Shanks, the notorious Red Emperor of the Sea, to court him.
