Summary
Instead of flying back to the street corner where Castiel was waiting for Dean, the two arrive in the bunker in the year 2021. Dean is shaken up from just experiencing the Croatian future Zachariah promised, and his angelic companion is baffled as to what went wrong, because he is an excellent flyer.
Dean and a newly human Castiel Winchester have defeated Chuck and are enjoying semi-retirement with Sam. The recently married couple help out other hunters on hunts by providing research and fake field offices. They have practically mastered domesticity, even having a garden. Sam enjoys living with his brother and brother-in-law and especially enjoys the semi-regular visits from Eileen and their collective child, Jack.
All of their lives are disrupted by the random appearance of younger versions of Cas and Dean. Versions that have not yet made many of the mistakes the trio regret. Will they take the opportunity to change the past, and possibly alter the future? Or will they let things unfold as they would have naturally, ensuring they have the same semi-happy ending?
Most importantly, which Dean gets to drive Baby?
