Decker had spent his entire career knowing that he was expendable, but he had assumed that it would be for the greater good of the USA. He'd be damned if his life and that of good men like Crane would be sacrificed for a drug cartel! So, what to do?
Meanwhile, Face knew that he should have just left things alone, enjoyed his vacation and called the rest of the team to come back later. What he should not have done was break into that office on his own. So much for laying low.
This is the sequel to "Something Doesn't Add Up".

Aramis sat back and rubbed the earth off his fingers, smiling in satisfaction. This should definitely brighten the room of the other residents once the primroses came into full bloom.
He paused with that thought. For the other residents? But not himself?
"Huh," he said and gazed at the seedlings.
Why did he think that? Why was he struck with this sudden feeling that he was not going to be there to enjoy the flowers? That these plants were going to be some kind of parting gift.
