Summary
Pirouette- a term used to refer to what many call the most difficult move in ballet. It requires incredible strength, control, and skill, as well as the ability to focus unwavering attention in one direction as the world turns around you.
Kurapika has but one goal, to become a prominent dancer on the Neo Broadway stage, but a drunken one-night stand with a handsome doctor threatens to shift his focus and spin his life out of control.
This is a very self-indulgent fic featuring my comfort ship. Updates will be sporadic.

Summary
Next to him… his hand was holding the boy standing right next to him, probably about three times shorter. A puffy jacket on him and wild, dark hair.
They made eye contact.
He nodded at Kurapika and led the younger boy to him. Kurapika had forgotten he’d been speaking regularly with parents for several years now and suddenly he’s forgotten every single rule in the book of proper speaking etiquette.
“Hi!” The man spoke, “Shit I hope this is the right class. Uh, you’re Mr. Kurta, right?”
Kurapika nodded slowly, “yes, yes I am.” so this is the infamous alleged hot lawyer slash doctor that his colleagues won’t shut the fuck up about. He looked down at Gon, blinking up at Kurapika with wide eyes. “And you must be Gon?”
(or, the loosely Gokusen-inspired AU where the cast are mainly teachers. Kurapika is in charge of a class of rowdy kindergarteners coming from various different backgrounds, and he develops a strong bond with this particular class and realizes the true meaning of teaching in the course of a school year, and maybe even falls in love.)

Summary
The palace of Fourth Prince Tserriednich is a lonely thing, tucked away into the mountains. It's been in the Hui Guo Rou family since before they could boast the title of royalty. Many of the Prince's ancestors lost their lives in its halls, from illness and poison and the horrible things that infect the bloodlines of those on the throne.
Theta, who has moved from more humble homesteads to protect the man who owns these rotting halls, can see very much the same horror in him. As the shadow of the Black Whale eclipses the both of them, there are things to be revealed in him. Buried parasites of bloodlust and greed, that Theta half appreciates and learns she must work to contain. And if containment be not an option, then to kill.
