Summary
When Damian, Tim, and Dick are assigned to a top-secret, monthlong recon mission in the middle of nowhere, not one of them is happy about it. But something is wrong with this little town in Illinois, and it's crept too close to Gotham's borders for comfort.
Danny is exhausted. Between his duties as the King of the Infinite Realms, midterms, and his parents' latest lethal invention, he doesn't have the time or energy to spare when three socialites impose themselves on Sam and her family for a month. But it's not like he can let her deal with it alone, even if the appearance of these rich kids is dredging up memories he never thought he'd need to relive.

Summary
When on patrol one night, Red Robin ends up critically injured by a powerful, young ghost. Fortunately, a glowing boy is there to save him. Unfortunately, it involves stabilizing Tim with something that looks eerily like Lazarus Water. With a brief, yet vague explanation of ghosts, ectoplasm, and something called the GIW, the boy - self-proclaimed Phantom - vanishes.
Tim launches himself into research, discovering a plethora of new revelations into ghosts and the spirits that reside within and alongside their world. Some a little closer to home than others. As Tim and his family continue to search for answers, they'll discover government coverups, magic beyond even the knowledge of Justice League Dark, and a town that tows the border of life and death.
Meanwhile, Danny Fenton is having the time of his half-life at Gotham U, balancing engineering classes with his kingly duties in the Infinite Realms. But when Phantom ends up on the Bats' radar, his delicate balance might be upset entirely. But then again, Danny Fenton has never been one to retreat from trouble. And he certainly isn't about to start when it comes in the form of one very attractive Tim Drake-Wayne.

As the entity's head swings back and forth between them, wisps of white hair float unnaturally through the damp air and light catches on a metal muzzle glinting across its face, which doesn’t hinder a deep growl that echoes through the chamber; grating, it sends a sense of dread through Bruce.
Damian’s prone body lay beneath it.
The sight cracks something within him.
“Release him,” Batman snarls. The entity only cements himself more firmly in front of his son, nearly blocking him from view. The growling grows. Nightwing unsheathes his escrima sticks.
Thick tension settles among them. The entity’s glowing green eyes flicker and in that moment, Batman acts.

Damian has been missing for two days after looking into an organization named the GIW. Batman's only lead is an escaped ecto-entity who he believes kidnapped his son as a hostage. When Nightwing and Batman finally find the entity, they will do everything in their power to bring their boy home.
