This is a pretty different topic from what I usually tackle in my fics, but imagining a world where these tough-guy hockey types loudly and proudly stand up for people's rights felt good (especially given that that isn't what actually happened...) If you're still reeling from the trauma of this election, please don't feel obligated to read. Take care of yourself and know that you are loved and valued by a whole lot of people, even if it's hard to feel that right now.
