Checo is thirty eight. Tanned skin, crooked smile, and the kind of man people assume has it all together once he flashes his teeth. On paper, life looked good: stable job, decent house, wife who cooked and loved him even when he barely touched her. But after years of pretending, he's finally admitting what’s been clawing at him his whole damn life.
He doesn’t like women. Never did. He likes men. Wants them. Needs them. The rougher, the better. It just took him nearly four decades of silent, aching denial to admit it.
Then there's Max. Twenty four. Pale like a forgotten corpse, cold like one too. People call him Snow White, a joke he hates. He doesn’t party, doesn’t flirt, barely even talks unless he has to. Too serious, too angry, too sober for someone his age.
But when Checo teased him, poked at the nickname, tried to get a rise out of him, Max didn’t flinch. Didn’t scowl. If anything, he leaned in.
And that’s where the trouble started.

Summary
Max is a 34 year old dominant Alpha who has struggled with his complicated relationship with his father since the age of nine. Cold and unyielding, Max treats omegas with cruelty regardless of their kindness and their interactions inevitably end in conflict.
Checo, a 26 year old Omega, is frequently misunderstood by this egocentric Alpha. Due to consuming odor suppressants daily since he was six years old, Checho has never fully learned to regulate his pheromones which only deepens the divide between them.
They have known each other since they were puppies; their parents are almost like family. However, Max and Checo cannot tolerate being together for more than a few minutes much less function as racing partners.
