O: What if Harumi hadn't cared at all about that innocent family and she had gone on with Garmadon. Basically, they disappear for a while and the events of season 11, 12 and 13 happen. They come back and it's like the crystal king arc hasn't appeared... Yet. Something confusing.

So he threw himself into it. He trained harder, fought longer, stopped going to school entirely. He told himself it was fine. That he could handle it. That he was helping. That it didn’t hurt when Phil hugged Echo and barely glanced at Tommy.
He could never tell them.
Because what if they didn’t like who was under the mask?
What if they only liked the version of him who bled quietly, smiled through the pain, and saved the day without ever asking for anything back?
So he kept lying. And when the lines blurred, Tommy didn’t know who he was without Echo anymore. And maybe, just maybe, he didn’t want to.

Summary
Tommy was many things: feared, free, powerful… but he wasn’t proud.
He wasn’t proud of the title he had or the name they’d called him, honestly he didn’t think he deserved it. Tommy never had an evil plan, or a secret lair, or any of the cool things villains had. All he had was a shitty apartment and the clothes on his back, and a desire for more.
He couldn’t be a civilian, and he certainly wouldn’t be a hero, so he did what he had to do.
At fifteen years old, Red Death killed the top heroes in L’Manburg, and Tommy became a villain.
Or: Two years ago, the top heroes of L'Manberg were killed by Red Death. Now, ex-villain Tommy tries to juggle the fallout while also forging new relationships, some of which may be more complicated than they seem.
