On her first "day off" as a member of the Black Bulls, Vanessa just couldn't pass up the opportunity to go exploring—even if it was with Finral. An impromptu shopping trip with him may be a choice she'd live to regret or one of the best decisions she'd ever make. An origin story for Vanessa & Finral's friendship and wholesome hurt/comfort. This story is not a romantic work (though there is some initial awkwardness due to Finral being Finral haha), but I guess it could be if you really wanted to see it(?). However, the focus is solely on how they became friends and developed the beautiful friendship they have today! Healthy Male-Female Friendships for the win!
