Rumi exhales slowly, eyes drifting shut for a second before closing her notebook quietly. It’s shoved into her bag along with her pen, not even bothering to store it in her pencil case like she always does without fail.
That’s the thing about… this whole thing. It disrupts her order. Her control. It makes her do things she wouldn’t usually do for herself or others. Makes her feel good about wanting and taking however much she wants.

“Come on, Mira.” Alternate Mira croons slowly, a siren song that makes Mira shudder. Her fingers curl over Mira’s shoulder, squeezing gently, coaxing her closer. “I see you. I know you. You deserve to be loved too. The lovergirl who takes care of her partners—but who takes care of you?”
Mira’s heart pounds in her chest now, faster as it slams against the cage of her ribs. A sledgehammer against the very walls she’s built.
It’s the truth.
And the truth always has a way of bypassing any kind of walls she tries to put up.
