Summary
Ash runs a nursery, back on the station where he grew up. He always comes back to the shop — it's his, it's home — but ever since he first wriggled his toes into real planet dirt, the wanderlust has seized him, and it hasn't let go. Visiting the planet Vervath has always been a dream of his, compelled by the promise of a world where the denizens live in genuine harmony with nature, where he could be just one small part of a garden the size of a planet. But having his visa approved and his dream realized does not go exactly as he might have imagined.
