Summary

Summary

Forced to participate in a ritual, a group of rogue sorcerers place an enchanted collar on them. The knights do not seem to think that the ritual had any consequences, but then, the knights don’t know that Merlin’s magic is gone and that his hands have started turning black.

Summary
Third part of the "On Top of Everything Else" trilogy.
The battle at the Ministry had been bad enough, only for the Astronomy Tower one to have been even worse. On the plus side, Voldemort lost most his inner circle, so he's lying low for now, leaving them to experience their final Hogwarts year in peace... or so they think. There's still plenty of mental trauma to deal with, as always, though there's a new school therapist to help with that... not that they listen to her that much. Plus, there's all the horcruxes to hunt, new classes, more abilities manifesting-- including in Draco-- the Necronomicon is back-- but is it really as bad as it's said to be?-- and of course, a few encounters with horrifying cosmic entities.
So what do they do? Escape into the Dreamlands frequently with Luna, of course-- more often than is probably recommended. And of course a healthy-- or not-so-healthy-- dose of mind-altering substances.
Of course, there's plenty of good times, too! Including two weddings, a visit to the beach, a strip-club, a Christmas party, and Sirius catches a big break! And some fun with a new form Harry can shift into.

Sequel to "A Vampire, On Top of Everything Else."
The aftermath of the battle in the Department of Mysteries has not been kind to Harry. Ever since he bit the Old One, Kaalut, he's been feeling quite peculiar: He's seeing the things Luna sees, hallucinating entire conversations, having weird physical reactions, and manifesting strange powers... And what's the deal with Nyarlathotep's interest in this? In addition, Harry turns to various things to cope-- frequent visits to the Dreamlands (via a potion more illegal than nyx), alcohol, retreating into his new animagus form... In short, he's a mess. Good thing he has his boyfriend Draco Malfoy helping to keep him semi-stable!
Oh, and of course, he still has all the vampire things to deal with, there's the new lessons with Dumbledore, Care of Magical Creatures gets interesting, students are being attacked, Luna is inexplically allowed to commentate quidditch, Voldemort is trying to obtain power from the Old Ones, friends find out his secrets, and numerous other fun things!
