Summary
Bilbo loves three things: He loves to meddle. He loves snow. And he loves seeing his friends happy. And so, it comes, that on one day in winter, he gathers Bard, Thranduil and Thorin to revive an old hobbit-ish tradition of the Shire. It is meant to strengthen the bonds between them as indiviuals so that the allyship between them may also prosper. However, Bilbo would not be Bilbo Baggins, if he didn't have another, slightly more selfish reason to call upon the so unlike kings. For the things Hobbits yearn for the most, are peace and joy, and Bilbo is no different in that aspect.

Summary
After the Battle of the Five Armies, Bilbo returns to Bag End, trying to convince himself that is best - for him and the dwarrow.
What he does not know, however, is that two certain Valar had kept an eye on both him and Thorin ever since they met each other in Bilbo's smial.
And what he doesn't know either, is that while Valar can be rather patient beings, their patience is brought to an end when year by year goes by, until Bilbo has been back 'home' for a whole decade. Which is why, for the first time in ages, the 'no-intervention-policy' is thrown out of the window.***
This fic is inspired by DHZ's gorgeous art piece Full Moon from slide #123 in the Scribbles & Drabbles event 2025.

When Bilbo stumbles upon the peculiar remains of beasts right in the heart of the mountain Erebor, the dwarves find themselves at an impasse on how to handle this unexpected - and maybe even dangerous - discovery. Ultimately, they are forced to face the unevitable: They need help of no other than not only one but two Wizards and an Elf Lord on top of that.

Bilbo finds bones. The dwarves panic. Elrond, Gandalf and Radgast attempt to perform damage control.

Summary
All Bilbo wanted was to be an ambassador to one of the richest kingdoms in Middle Earth. Upon meeting its prince, his opinion is greatly lessened. However, Bilbo still finds himself agreeing to play the part of his consort to help free Erebor from the gold mad Thror. Turns out, Thror may not be as blind as his grandson thinks, and intends to use Bilbo to get rid of Thorin once and for all.
