"Shota," Hizashi smiled brightly, eyes closed and everything.
"No." Shota shot him down immediately, a scowl on his face.
"Shoootaaaa," Hizashi whined.
Shota looked away from his husbands face to look at the oddly colored kitten in his arms, it couldn't be more than one year old, it looked injured too, with a broken back leg, patches of fur were gone, a big gash down the kittens face, and the kitten looked to be extremely malnourished. He caved. "Fine, but he's YOUR cat."
"THANK YOU SO MUCH! I LOVE YOU!" Shota had to activate his quirk to quiet his husband's voice.
...
Long story short, the kitten turned into his cat too, but then that cat turned into a traumatized teen who needed a hug.
And a family.

Or Mori rescues Atsushi from the orphanage at 11, adopts him, and turns him into the White Reaper, part of Shin Soukoku. It’s his sons life that he has to protect. But sometimes it’s okay to teeter on the edge.
