Summary
While Alluka heals Gon’s fatal wounds in Swardini City Hospital, Killua risks life and limb to protect her. When he fails, Alluka and Nanika must run on their own. In a flash of soot and fear, they find themselves in an unknown city; the buildings of which have crumbled and the smell of fear is ever wavering. The two can sense they aren’t alone, and with what seems like only a few seconds, they are brought into a cluster, an infamous gang who originates in this desolate city. On the other end of the spectrum, Gon wakes up to an empty room. The hospital, an eerie quiet, and Killua nowhere to be found.

Killua and Alluka are the new arrivals to the slums of York New after escaping their awful family. Through mulitple weeks of encounters between the Zoldycks and Gon, the weariness fades and instead, a glint of something new passes their thoughts. -

Yeah so, to be frank, Gon is a complete dumbass, he sneezing and ends up almost dead, lets be real. Killua cant take care of him for shit, but he tries.

It was like their own little world, nothing existing but the two of them. Gon and Killua and the endless rain surrounding them, a shimmering curtain shielding them from the noise and chaos of the outside world. It felt peaceful.

No one’s ever brought him water and a cool towel. No one’s ever stroked his hair when he was ill or in pain. No one’s ever sat beside him and spoken to him softly and watched over him so he wasn’t alone. Whatever Killua’s done to deserve this, he’ll make sure he does it again. As many times as he can, whatever the cost. He’ll earn this again."
Killua becomes delirious with a high fever, but he isn't subjected to the usual pain and cruelty at the hands of his family. Instead, someone else is here, someone who is very kind and very gentle and very unlike anyone Killua has ever met.
