Summary
Commander Shepard is dead. In his place, a man wakes up to a galaxy that's moved on without him. Forced to ally with the monstrous organisation Cerberus, the newley rekindled Shepard discovers he's a shadow of the hero he used to be.
Saddled with a suicide mission to stop the extinction of mankind, the commander is trapped between stopping a new and deadly enemy, and trying to piece himself back together.
Facing his most dangerous mission yet, Shepard quickly discovers that without something deeper than duty to his mission, he won't be coming back at all.
A Shepard/Tali novelisation of Mass Effect 2, with slight changes to the canon. This story will follow a man scarred by death. There will be fluff and fun to be had with the commander and his close friends, but ultimately this will be a tale of overcoming loss and grief.

Summary
After graduating from Beacon Academy, Ruby Rose quickly became the heroine she always wanted to be, successfully protecting the people of Remnant from the creatures of Grimm wherever they arose. But while this life is certainly fulfilling in her opinion, it can also be awfully stressful. So to relax and have some fun in between missions, she occasionally visits her super bestie (with benefits) Weiss. And of course, the white-haired hung futanari is always happy to have her around... for various reasons, although one likely stands out.
Unfortunately, ever since Weiss took over the SDC, she has been an incredibly busy woman. So when Ruby wants to pay her a surprise visit, she has a hard time getting a hold of her bestie. Thankfully, Willow and Winter are around to keep the Huntress company on her little vacation while the heiress takes care of her business. However, the two elder Schnees are also somewhat to blame for Ruby and Weiss having trouble meeting.
