    Summary

    The Escorter is a title that is given at birth. It’s unknown who gives the title only that they are known once a Pokémon sees them. However, there is no way to know beforehand.

    The Escorter’s duty is to escort Pokémon home and protect their home and way of life.

    The Chosen One is a title that is given by Mew the Original and Arceus, collectively. Head Ho-Oh, who searches for pure souls, is able to indicate which region the Chosen One is in. One Pokémon will become the Trial Overseer. There will be one Protector Pokémon assigned to them.

    The Chosen One’s duty is to protect legendary and mythical Pokémon from world catastrophic events. When a Chosen One passes their trial, it’s cause for great celebration throughout the entire Pokémon World for it symbolizes an era of peace and prosperity.

    The Escort is given when needed. The Chosen One is chosen once every one hundred years.

    The last Escort showed up five hundred years ago. The last Chosen One to pass their trial was one thousand years ago.

    Gary Oak is the Escorter and Ash Ketchum is the Chosen One

    Lan Wangji had long since stopped thinking of Wei Wuxian's body as Mo Xuanyu's. He grew used to all the ways it was different and the same from the last. But slowly, surely, now that they were comfortable, Wei Wuxian's face had begun to change again. The lines of his jaw became a slightly smudged drawing. Not all together unfamiliar, just enough that Lan Wangji second-guessed his own memory. There was one night Lan Wangji came home to find Wei Wuxian's eyes had changed color. He woke one morning and was taller, his silhouette stretching and growing like a shadow cast against the wall.

    His smile was the same. The way he pouted, and slept in, the way he kissed. His terrible jokes. Lan Wangji would get used to a new face too if the husband was still the same.

    Or, the one where Wei Wuxian's face begins to change to look like his original body. It isn't easy on anyone. But it isn't so bad, either.

    After the events of Orange Town the Straw Hat Pirates discuss the need to expand their crew. This includes a proper thief, so that Nami can focus on being their navigator. Luckily for them, a twist of fate sees them encounter a mysterious fog bank... which leads them to the Gray Havens. There, after a chance encounter, Luffy, Zoro, and Nami are introduced to a particular burglar, five years after his journey with the Company of Thorin Oakenshield, who has realized he is quite ready for another adventure...

    The world underestimate the Straw Hat Pirate, thinking them as one of many rookie pirates. They were quickly proven wrong when suddenly, the crew become more fearsome than they originally is.

    On the other side, the Straw Hat only want an adventure and realizing their dream. Their captain is bummed of repeating same journey until they get to a certain point... until they realize, no. This is not the exact same journey.
