She’s not alone though- everybody in the killing game has a partner! Knowing the dis-bear-ed rulers of the game, however, having somebody close to you is anything but good. Because for every plant, animal-eared girl, or mushroom that leaves the game… one will stay in the game for the rest of their lives.

“Oh my goodness! Are you alright?!”
Kokichi froze at the familiar voice, entire body tensing. Hesitantly, he glanced up and was met with the sight of Kiibo looking down at him with concern.
What the fuck.
Kokichi felt dizzy. He looked around, noticing their surroundings was…one of the classrooms. He whipped his head around, looking back at the locker he just fell out of. He was in the locker…just like at the beginning of the game.
Again, what the fuck.
Or, Kokichi dies for his plan and then wakes up back at the start. So, naturally, he has to think of a new course of action…which ends up requiring cooperation, trust, and a lot less lying to pull off, much to Kokichi’s displeasure.

Summary
Set in an alternate universe, this story is a crossover between Poppy Playtime and Danganronpa 2, taking place just before the third class trial. As Hajime Hinata and his hope-filled friends descend toward the trial grounds for the deaths of Ibuki Mioda and Hiyoko Saionji, something goes wrong. The false utopia they once stood upon fractures. Instead of a courtroom, they find themselves pulled into the remnants of a long abandoned toy factory one that should not exist in their world.
Separated and forced deeper into its hollow corridors, they begin to realize that the smiling mascots and colorful walls conceal something far older than their own despair. The factory has its own history. Its own experiments. Its own philosophy.
And in this reality… are they truly so different? What is worse, that they have no answers?Or that the one who holds them is content to watch from afar? This is The Descent.
